Meet the Mama behind...

Nationwide image

Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings

Shanda and Scott Woodward  509-714-6888 or 509-999-1516

swoodward@floorsandwindows.com

Shanda and her husband Scott own Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings.  There are many carpet stores in the Inland Northwest, but Shanda's has a unique twist that saves you time and money!  She brings the showroom right to your house or office!  No longer do you have to drive back and forth choosing flooring samples to match your furniture and paint.

They have a variety of flooring including carpeting, vinyl, tile, hardwood, and cork among others.  And you can also take care of your window covering needs at the same time!  They have blinds, shades and shutters for all budgets.

SpokaneMama asked Shanda a few things about life as a Mompreneur in the Inland Northwest.

What do you like about your business?  We like being in business for ourselves.  We also like satisfied customers that recognize and appreciate tremendous value.

What business tip can you give other women in business?  Visit and participate in as many networking opportunities as you can.  Make lasting and personal connections and learn as much about other businesses that you can.  Try to connect as much as possible over coffee, lunch, etc. outside of the standard networking opportunities to get to know more about others.  Finally, patience and persistence!

How long have you lived in the Inland Northwest?  My whole life!  I've lived in Montana, Idaho and Washington.

What's your favorite thing about the Inland NW?  I love the four seasons and the nature.  We love camping with our family and I love gardening when I have time to myself.

You can find Shanda's Business listed on the SpokaneMama's Service Listing

Indiana jones

Now if you are from my generation of mamas...I just need to say Indy and your heart will skip a beat.  It's hard to believe that Harrison Ford is 66 now!  He'll always be that swashbuckling 30 something year old when I was just an impressionable teenage girl.

Take the family to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.  In this film, archaeologist/adventurer Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones is called back into action when he becomes entangled in a Soviet plot to uncover the secret behind mysterious artifacts known as the Crystal Skulls.
